DynoSOL’s strategy runs in two stages:
- Subjective Vetting (reviewed by team)
- Sustainable Validator Delta Function ( Live )
Phase 1: Subjective Vetting
Validators are evaluated based on:
- SVM Involvement: Active participation in Turbin3’s Advanced SVM programs
- Ecosystem Contributions:
- Building open-source tooling
- Educating users or devs
- Organizing or supporting events
- DAO participation
- Bringing new capital to Solana
- Track Record:
- Past validator success
- Infrastructure reliability
- Institutional outreach
Phase 2: Sustainable Validator Delta Function
Functionality
- Starting stake: Every validator begins with 2,500 SOL.
- Growth path: Stake increases with demonstrated growth and ecosystem contributions.
- Penalties: Stake is reduced for stagnation or underperformance.
Sustainability Measurement Window
- Duration:
- 3 months (~45 epochs), repeated each quarter.
- Continues until the validator reaches the maximum delegation stake.
- Criteria:
- Validators must achieve positive stake growth per quarter (since first delegation).
- Outcomes:
- Pass: Delegation increases by 2,500 SOL.
- Fail: Delegation decreases by 2,500 SOL.
- Two consecutive fails at 2,500 SOL: Validator is removed.
- No growth after first epoch delegation: Stake is removed after 3 months.
